Welcome to Fontaine’s 5, where we break down the top college football plays of the week! Here are five of our favorite picks for Saturday's slate. Let’s dive in:

1. Texas A&M (-2.5) at Auburn

The Aggies come into this game after a much-needed bye week to recover from a tough outing against South Carolina. Offensively, Texas A&M has been finding rhythm with Conner Weigman and Marcel Reed providing dynamic options at quarterback. Auburn, on the other hand, has struggled to establish an identity under Hugh Freeze. While the stats may appear even, A&M's overall consistency and defensive edge should secure them a win and cover in this matchup.

Pick: Texas A&M -2.5

2. Iowa (-6.5) at Maryland

Maryland is in complete free fall, having lost four of their last five games, all by 20 points or more. Iowa, despite an uncharacteristic loss to UCLA, remains a solid and well-coached team with a defense that thrives on making opposing offenses uncomfortable. Look for the Hawkeyes to rebound strong and take care of business against a vulnerable Terps squad.

Pick: Iowa -6.5

3. Over 67 – Texas Tech at Oklahoma State

Shootout alert! Both Texas Tech and Oklahoma State have been involved in high-scoring games all season, and this matchup should be no different. Neither team excels at stopping the pass, with Oklahoma State ranking 199th in passing yards allowed and Texas Tech 133rd. While weather could play a factor, both offenses should have plenty of opportunities to exploit weak defenses.

Pick: Over 67

4. Mississippi (-10.5) at Florida

This game features an elite Ole Miss defense that should cause headaches for Florida’s offense. The Rebels, coming off a bye week, have the edge in preparation and may also see the return of Tre Harris, which will further enhance their downfield passing game. Expect Ole Miss to grind this one out and pull away late for a comfortable cover.

Pick: Mississippi -10.5

5. Marshall (+3) at Old Dominion

Marshall enters this game riding a four-game winning streak, while Old Dominion is reeling after consecutive losses. The Thundering Herd boasts a solid red-zone defense, ranking 15th nationally, which could prove decisive in a tight contest. With momentum on their side, Marshall should not only cover the spread but might win outright.

Pick: Marshall +3
